Flooring that offers Flexibility

There are four types of flexible flooring which are considered hard-wearing, easy to maintain and inexpensive and not to mention decorative. The best part is that they are warmer on the feet then tiles. They are as follows: Linoleum - It's making a big comeback. Non- slip, burn resistant, and reasonably priced. Today you can inlay and splice to make customized designs. Cork - Can be used in bathrooms, playrooms, kitchens and hallways. Durable and economical, warm, soft and quiet. It also comes in a range of colors. Vinyl - Comfortable to walk on, priced reasonably, easy to clean, variety of colors and designs. Rubber - Compared to linoleum and vinyl, rubber is more hard-wearing, softer, warmer and quieter. Resistant to burns and dents and comes in many colors. If you are interested in learning more about each of these types of flexible flooring, contact your local flooring company and ask for a comparison demonstrastion.

Peppermint Crunch Bark Recipe

With the holidays over, you might have some left over candy canes, don't throw them out, they can be used with this recipe. Recently a friend of mine ask if I could share her recipe with all of you and I said sure. You will need: 16 oz white chocolate or Wilton candy melts 6 candy canes coarsely chopped or (peppermints) 16 oz bittersweet chocolate or (bittersweet chips) 12 Tablespoons whipping cream 1 1/2 teaspoons peppermint extract. Mark 24"x18" rectangle on a foil. Melt white chocolate and spread on rectangle. Refrigerate until cold and firm. Mix bittersweet chocolate, cream, and peppermint extract over low heat until just melted. Cool to lukewarm (5-10 minutes) Using icing spatula, spread over the cold white chocolate layer. Springkle with crushed peppermints candies. Chill until firm. Cut into triangles. Keep refrigerated. Keeps for 2 weeks in airtight container. Enjoy!
