Happy New Year Everyone! I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays. Now its' time to get back to our regular routines. The New Year started with a bang, the phone keeps ringing and that is always a good thing. The weather has been cooperating, which makes it easier to accomplish our tasks. I look forward to helping those of you that need my assistance.

I am gearing up for the Home Show this month. It starts January 19-27th. Please visit my website under the Events page for dates and times. My booth number is 0521, please stop by to visit.
I am entered in the "Best Green Products" contest. I will have a "Best Green Product" sign shown above my exhibit. All visitors will be directed at the Show entrance to look for this sign in the exhibits and then vote for their favorite.
The Green Products I offer are Natural Shade window treatments made of Bamboo choices which are not wood but a fast growing grass that can be made into a wood-like product, they are Eco-Friendly and Sustainable/highly durable.

PAINTING WOOD FLOORS
I am occassionally asked the question, can I paint my wood floors? If your wood floor has some flaws and you want to distract from them, painting is a good option. You can have checkered board patterns, stenciling or maybe even elaborate designs. However, you must be sure the paint you use is specially formulated for floor use. Latex paint can also be used as long as it is of a high quality paint. To top it off and protect the floor, use a coat of polyurethane when you are all done. This also protects kids from getting splinters. When you paint a large pattern the space appears expansive.
This is a way to get creative, provide color and keep your hardwood floors.
NEW ADDITION TO MY FAMILY
I would like to introduce all of you to my little baby Reese. He is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, 14 weeks old, 7 lbs. We picked him up on New Years Day. He is so precious and already knows who Mommy is. He likes sitting on Mommy's lap when she is typing at the computer. He is a little peanut and you just want to eat him up, like a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup.
