Greetings!
With the Spring approaching, Home Shows are scheduled and March is a big month for them. They help you to start thinking about what projects you want to begin. This weekend, March 2,3, and 4th I will be exhibiting at the Atlantic City Convention Center for the New Jersey Home and Garden Show, stop by my Booth #418. Hope to see you there.

Need Storage Ideas?
The age old problem of storage. It just doesn't seem to go away, especially if you have a growing family. Here are seven storage solutions you can use if you are not already.
Baskets - of various shapes and sizes; used for magazines, files, letters, gloves, hats, spices and herbs, blankets, linens, winter clothes, toys, towels and cleaning materials.
Hooks and Racks - used to hold bathrobes, garment bags, clothes, coats, cups, small jugs, utensils, pots, folded chairs.
Skirted Tables - to conceal electric fans, baskets of clutter, exercise weights, firewood, filing cabinet
Shelves - of various shapes and sizes; used for displaying books, storage baskets, plates, trophies and collections; use wire shelves to hold handbags, scarves; miniature shelves for spices, herbs
Under the bed - store luggage, skis, baskets, folding exercise equipment, file boxes, blankets, out of season clothes; If you are into Feng Shui, storage under the bed is not recommended. Bad energy flow.
Under the Stairs - wine storage, build bookshelves into the space, baskets, plastic crates, , office supplies, stationery, spare paper goods, tool boxes
Using Fabric - suspend across alcoves to create clothes storage, conceal moveable clothes rack, hanging rod or shelves full of shoes
Are You Using All the Deductions Available to You?
The following deductions are often overlooked at tax time. Check the list to make sure you aren't forgetting any of them.
Home mortgage interest
Real estate taxes
Personal property taxes
State income taxes
Points paid on the purchase of a residence
Investment interests
Charitable contributions
Loss due to theft or casualty
Tax return preparation costs
Professional dues
Unreimbursed employee expenses
Job hunting costs
Continuing education in your profession
Tax and investment planning expenses
As you can see from this list, real estate is still the best tax deductible investment.
Home Expos in March
Along with the home expo this weekend, I will be exhibiting at another one March 30, 31 and April 1st at the Valley Forge Convention Center in Pennsylvania. If you don't make this weekend, pencil in this one at the end of the month. Hope to see you there.

Pot Roast Recipe
Meat eaters delight. Purchase some lean chuck or rump roast and brown meat slowly in 2 tablespoons of olive oil or more if needed. Remove the meat and add in the oil 2 crushed garlic, 2 chopped onions, 2 teaspoons of oregano, 1 teaspoon of thyme, a little basil, little cinnamon, 1 teaspoon of salt, little black pepper and a little sugar ("little" means use your judgment). Simmer for 5 minutes. Careful not to burn.
Return the meat in to pan and mix 1 can of tomato paste with 2 cups of water, pour over meat, bring to a full boil and lower heat. Cover, simmer 2-3 hours turning meat occassionally. You can serve the sauce with cooked noodles. It might take a while to cook but it sure is delicious.
