Easter Holiday Recipes Available
I have had many positive comments about my recipe page and decided to provide different recipes that I know you will enjoy. I wish I could take credit for all the recipes I share, but I can't. However, I intend on sharing ones that I prepare seasonally or regularly. Since the Easter Holiday is approaching I thought some of you would be interested in my family traditions. So click on the link below and try out two recipes that are family favorites. Visit the site periodically this month, because I plan on providing you pictures, once I make them myself for the holiday.

Need Sponsorship for Bowl for Kids Sake of the Big Brother Big Sister Organization
Some of my first community members are aware that I am a Big Sister for the Big Brother Big Sister Organization. I have a 'little' named Melissa who is now 14 yrs old. Next month we will have been matched for 2 yrs now. Periodically the organization has events and one of them is the Bowl for Kids Sake. I have formed a team called Double T's and we are looking for sponsors who would be willing to donate either through per pin or flat donations. The proceeds will go directly toward matching children in Burlington County to caring adult mentors. Your help is appreciated. If you would like to sponsor my team and make a donation then please click on the link below and it will take you to the Big Brother Big Sister Organizations web page where you can make a donation. Just fill in the blanks and make sure you enter my name and teams name. Any help you can provide is appreciated. Being a "Big" is one of the most rewarding experiences in my life.

Understanding Fabrics
Fabrics supply softness, comfort, adds character, can absorb sound and enriches a room. Many people feel challenged when it comes to selecting the correct fabrics because it does require knowledge of fibers, fabric construction, coloring or dyeing procedures, and finish selections. You need to have a good understanding of the human factor and the elements and principles of design. Fabric's purpose is to introduce color, texture and pattern. A tip to keep in mind is when you coordinate fabrics, select colors that are compatible and harmonious. There are three dimensions to color; hue, value, and chroma. Hues are warm and cool color classifications. Value is whether the fabric is light, medium or dark. Fabrics are either muted or bright in chroma. Another tip is not to be afraid to mix different patterns and colors. Selecting fabrics is an art project when done properly is a masterpiece. Some of this context is from the book, "Beginnings of Interior Environments".
