Redecorating Project
Challenge: small rooms, large windows
Solution: moved loveseat from dining room into living room, put living
room sofa downstairs, purchased new chairs for dining room to make it
a sitting room instead, moved bookshelves into sitting room and
purchased some new furniture, accessories and window treatments
for both rooms. New area rug for sitting room and foyer.

Benefit: all three spaces offer a beautiful combination of colors, a more
sophisticated look, and more functional, all within budget.

Challenge: older home needing renovations to living and dining room,
foyer and stairway, transitional in style, wanting some eco-friendly
furniture.
Solution: designed new floor plan, removed carpet and replaced with
hardwood floors, some new eco-friendly furniture, fresh paint,
new window treatments, area rugs and runner up the staircase,
new railing and bottom steps.

Challenge: small efficiency space made from old motel needing update
Solution: new carpet, paint, window treatments, chair and ottoman and
accessories, and new placement of furniture.

Challenge: Client unsure about preferred style, needed some masculine and
feminine appeal, wanted living room to accomodate baby grand piano and some
seating.
Solution: mix florals and stripes, provide traditional flare to accommodate baby
grand piano

Benefit: elegant, sophisticated, yet comfortable and relaxing

Challenge: Client looking for a new style, not quite sure if she was modern
or traditional. Needed updating.
Solution: Determined style to be transitional with traditional at heart.
Needed to find a safe mix of modern and traditional to create a warm
and cheerful atmosphere. Selected cheerful paint color, a mix of modern
and traditional furniture, a new traditional fireplace, new hardwood,
painted bookshelf white, added new window treatments and area rugs.

and modern.

Challenge: transitional client, wants color but not too bold, complete redo of
living room and kitchen.
Solution: blended traditional and modern, splash of color, all new furniture,
window treatments and floor, lighting, counter tops and cabinets.

Challenge: small condo, client looking to create a European look and
contemporary flare with bright and cheery colors
Solution: Blended old world and contemporary furniture using a mixture
of soft and bright colors on the walls, furniture, carpet and window
treatments, to create a rich look.Also replaced window treatments
and lineoleum and added a new ceramic tile in the kitchen with a
mosiac piece of art in the center of the floor. Added dining room chairs,
a mirror and chandelier. Completely redecorated bath, with new cabinet,
counter top, sink, light, and porcelain floor, topped off with a vibrant color.

Solution: new stone fireplace, closed in back wall, brighter colors,
new furniture, paint and hardwood floors, rustic furniture and earth
colors, lamps with birds, leafy area rug, fish tank

Solution: replace light, toilet, towel racks, floor and faucet, then paint walls
two colors to add dimension.

Solution: Created three zones, placed bookcases to block view of exercise

Challenge: Keeping contemporary leather sofa, but wants a traditional/contempoary
flare in the family room and living room. The dining room needs new seat covers,
accessories and paint.
Solution: Blend warm and bright colors together in fabrics and paint,
and mix patterns. Add some new furniture, accessories and new window treatments.

Challenge: Complete remodel and addition. Requested Tuscany style kitchen
and family room and color. Needed all new paint, wallpaper, tile, cabinets
and counter tops, furniture with accessories and window treatments.
Wanted elegance yet warm and welcoming.
Solution: Warm paint colors and wallpaper, elegant yet
comfortable sitting, wood blinds, window treatments, new
kitchen cabinets, table and island.

has been completely remodeled and the eating area is a new addition,
so everything you see in the after pictures are brand new.

Benefit: A Tuscan style kitchen, nook and family room, offering a warm and

Challenge: Large dining room, existing furniture too small, would like Tuscany
style decor.
Solution: Replace all furniture in a larger scale and in the Tuscany style, add
pictures, area rug and window treatments, change paint color.

Challenge: Not much of a challenge, it was a clean slate, other than keeping
existing leather sofa and chair. They needed everything and wanted a
contemporary look with an Asian flare.
Solution: Presented a contemporary area rug and metal accessories, but
selected furniture with an Asian flare and added a splash of color to the walls.

A brighter, warmer atmosphere, offering a sleek, contemporary style, providing
a little bit of Asian cultural backdrops.

This is the same house as above but in the living room:
Challenge: Other than it being a small room, it was a clean slate and they
wanted to continue the Asian flare, but in a more conversational
intimate setting for mother and daughter.
Solution: Purchased 4 chairs, two contemporary and two of Asian
flare and placed them across from one another. Added area rug with
storage ottoman for the extra seating and storage, end tables and
lamps to bring in another element of Asian flare, along with wall decor.
Added paint to accentuate the room and make it warmer.

Benefit: Complete, cozy and conversational

Challenge: Rectangular room with wasted space, wants room to be brighter
and utilized more fully.
Solution: Divided room into two zones, one a library, the other the
entertainment area. Replaced window treatments with wood blinds and
swags. Applied three different paint colors, a yellow for the upper walls and
green for the lower walls that are paneled and lighter version of yellow for
the trim and ceiling.

An updated, brighter and spacious room, with every area utilized
fully. Completed within specified timeframe.

Challenge: Large room lacking functionality and modernization.
Needed new floor plan,furniture, carpet, color and window treatments.
Solution: Rearranged furniture so new loveseat provides a division for
the entrance way and the living room. Brighter paint, new carpet
and modern swags and jabots with wood blinds were added to the windows.

limited budget
Solution: Created Tuscany style, brighter colors, paint on the walls, new wall

Solution: corner bookcases and two wing chairs with table placed in front of book-
cases.

Challenge: unfinished loft with no closet space, wants to convert into bedroom and
have plenty of space to store things, wants to keep old dressers.
Solution: build adequate closet space, insulate, paint, add chair rail for added touch
utilize old dressers as shelving in closet

Benefit: crisp and stylish, lots of storage in closet utilizing old dressers.

Challenge: Needed a backsplash, but has busy granite counter tops, lots of red
tones in wood and floor
Solution: selected soft terracotta ceramic tile, with bronze grapes for accents
and glass squares for added texture and accents.

Challenge: Owner needed help with pulling colors and determining style that
would work in a cape cod. Would like to have more counter and cabinet space.
Solution: Suggested Tuscany style, provided colors and assistance
in the selection process for cabinets, counter, backsplash, etc.

Benefit: Tuscany style in a smaller scale, brighter and a elegant flair.

Challenge: Old cottage shore home that has been rented and abused.
Needs tender loving care and to be brought back to life. Did not
want alot of accessories, limited budget.
Solution: New hardwood floors in three rooms to keep its charm,
polyurethene the paneling in living room to make it shine, new window
treatments for all rooms to offer color and easy functionality and
maintenance, painted kitchen cabinets, new paint and all new
furniture throughout, and some new wall decor.

limited budget
Solution: new window treatments, paint, some new furniture,
mirror closet doors and accent pillows

Challenge: Owner wants room to have funky/different accessories
representing moroccan and English Tudor. Needed a chaise lounge
but not as big as existing one and tables.
Solution: Focused on wrought iron accessories and furniture with Tudor
and moroccan flare, removed large chaise lounge, replaced sectional
and chaise with solid decor, added accent table and console with tiffany
and pictures.

bulky, hence more balance.

Challenge: update green fireplace tile to be more neutral
Solution: selected a glass tile versus ceramic in black with gold speckles and
gold grout to make glass pop out.
